The original Giant-Size X-Men #1 introduced readers to a brand new team of mutants who joined forces with the original batch. Conversely, X-Men Giant-Size #1, unites the original X-men and the modern incarnation in a conflict that spans millions of years. Chris Yost’s “First to Last” is ambitious enough to be intriguing so far, but the story comes up lacking in a few areas.
