It’s hard not to read this issue with a bittersweet tinge as news broke today of this series coming to an end. However, Greg Pak retains the charm that has prevailed throughout this arc thus far, offering up plenty of playful banter between Hulk and Red She-Hulk while continuing to poke fun at the accepted tropes of spy flicks. And yes, that means a passionate embrace amongst the wreckage of an explosive battle that’s beautifully rendered by artist Tom Grummett. If you’re looking for an emotionally charged, “deep” story that stars the Hulk, this issue won’t do you any favors. Incredible Hulks #628, even more so than the issues previous, is nearly 100% Hulk smash. I mean, the issue is called “Live and Let Smash.” That should give you the idea.

Its a new issue but the picture is totally misleading. The issue is great.
