It seems a bit heartbreaking that Scandal and Knockout’s relationship took a bit of a downturn after the latter’s rescue, but the ending pages of this issue give me a little hope.
The interactions between Catman and Bane made me smile: I think that after a long while, the guys on this team have settled into a mutual respect that allows them to discuss issues like revenge, betrayal, and “the woman [he] wants to mate with.”
The cover to this issue is downright awesome; even though there isn’t any Bane-on-Venom moments, it still captures his past. I really like the red streaks coming from his eyes, and the Venom pouring from his mouth.
