Every issue we get to see the heroes for the first time. We’ve seen Wonder Woman in her own title but didn’t get a real sense of what her past was like. Here we get to see her interact with the people and the other heroes for the first time. We’ve already seen what Batman and Green Lantern’s first encounter was like and when they first met Superman. It’s also great looking at the background to see if there are any other familiar characters quietly being introduced.
